Forging a Legacy: Tracing the History of the Marwah Group
In 1961, Mr. Krishanlal Marwah, and his sons Raj and Sushil, started manufacturing paper clips and pins. They expanded to steel wire production in Mumbai and built the first construction of Marwah Complex in 1978. Today, it houses numerous businesses making it a bustling industrial estate.
Leading the third generation of Marwahs, the current Chairman and MD, Mr. Nitin Marwah, brought up Marwah House, setting the tone for further development. In 2004, Marwah Centre was built, which is now home to major Indian and international companies.
The fourth generation of Marwahs, Vidur & Pranav, diversified the business - creating a multi-vertical sports company, investing in startups, and establishing thinQbate, an early-stage investing platform and accelerator.
The Marwah Group now operates across various sectors, including real estate, hospitality, sports and investment.
